Traverse at 50 : Traverse Through Time Panel #9

Traverse in Time is a series of panel discussions that look back at the rich history of Edinburgh’s Traverse Theatre, and the individuals who were involved in its illustrious past. Taking place at Summerhall on Friday 23rd August, playwright and actor Stuart Hepburn.

Writer and actor Stuart Hepburn was first involved with the Traverse Theatre in 1981, after staging Tom McGrath and Jimmy Boyle’s play ‘The Hard Man’, with fellow students from Stirling University.

He has since gone on to perform at the Traverse many times, was the Writer in Residence and penned two plays for Artistic Director Ian Brown, and sat on the Board for 11 years, becoming the Chair from 2001 until 2005.
