Animator Claire Lamond talks to us about her short film ‘Seams and Embers’, a stop-motion piece which observes a young miner during his early working days in the 1940s through to his experiences as an old man following the closure of the Scottish pits in the 1980s. This work was created in response to her residency at the National Mining Museum Scotland.
