Brittonie Fletcher : LUX SHIFTER

Brittonie Fletcher presents LUX SHIFTER, a new exhibition as part of the ACTINIC alternative photography festival.

The ACTINIC Festival is a new series of exhibitions and events featuring Scottish and international artists at the intersection of analogue photographic media and other arts. The artists featured in the festival have produced innovative and striking work using a variety of photographic media – including chromogenic collage, photograms, digitally manipulated chemical prints and images reconfigured as slivered light.

This exhibition features local, Edinburgh based artists as Evan Thomas, Keith Guy, Scarlet Platel and Susanne Ramsenthaller. ACTINIC is also showing work from further afield, presenting an array of international artists, including USA-based Christian Arrecis and Clint Backlawski.

ACTINIC is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Season of Light and the Institute of Photography Scotland’s 2015 SEASON OF PHOTOGRAPHY – an umbrella title for a series of lively exhibitions and events taking place at multiple venues throughout Scotland from mid-April to the end of September 2015.

LUX SHIFTER is on in the Lower Hope Park Church Gallery, Summerhall, until the 21st July 2015. Find out more HERE
