Sculptor in Ordinary to the Queen in Scotland, Alexander Stoddart discusses his new piece commissioned by the Scottish National Portrait Gallery. Replacing William Birnie Rhind’s A figure of History, which used to sit upon the apex above the entrance to the Gallery, will be Stoddart’s new History. The exhibition contains drawings and photos documenting the process of the sculpture.

The exhibition is at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, until the 28th September, 2014.
