The Children’s Parliament aims to help children up to the age of 14 express themselves through creative arts. For the exhibition ‘Me + Us’, 60 children from all over Scotland put into words and pictures what they thought about the subjects of cultural identity and heritage.
A special gathering was held at Summerhall, which gave the participants a chance to see all the banners together. Minister for Community Safety and Legal Affairs Roseanna Cunningham MSP attended The Gathering, and children spoke at the event to the adults present.
