Louise Bourgeois : A Woman Without Secrets

The ARTIST ROOMS and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art present a major exhibition of French-American artist Louise Bourgeois’s work. From drawings to sculptures, A Woman Without Secrets celebrates the later works in the artists long career.

Bourgeois’s assistant of 30 years Jerry Gorovoy, provides an insight into the works and what it was like working so closely with the artist.

Louise Bourgeois is a French-American artist, best known for her sculptural and drawing work. Bourgeois’s career spanned over seven decades, and has had great influence for many who work in the art world today. Much of her work is autobiographical, and stems from experiences in her childhood.

The exhibition is on at The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Edinburgh, until the 18th May 2014.
