Sea Change : Deirdre Nelson

Sea Change is an exhibition featuring work from a collection of artists from the Western and Northern Isles of Scotland, based on a four year project by Cape Farewell. The aim of the project is to highlight the impact climate change has, to encourage a greater understanding of the environment in the Western and Northern Isles, and to further enhance research in this area.

Speaking from the launch of the Sea Change exhibition is Deirdre Nelson who is part of the Sexy Peat project, which looks at the Lewis peat lands and their importance within the environment.

The exhibition is on at the John Hope Gateway, Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh, until the 26th January, 2014.
