Traverse at 50 : Traverse Through Time Panel #10

Traverse in Time is a series of panel discussions that look back at the rich history of Edinburgh’s Traverse Theatre, and the individuals who were involved in its illustrious past. Taking place at Summerhall on Saturday 24th August, this is the final of the ten discussions that were held. Featuring Orla O’Loughlin and Linda Crooks, chaired by Xela Batchelder.

Orla O’Loughlin is the Artistic Director of the Traverse Theatre. Previous to this post, she was Artistic Director of the award-winning Pentabus Theatre and International Associate at the Royal Court Theatre. Directing work for the Traverse includes Ciara, Clean, A Respectable Widow Takes to Vulgarity,The Arthur Conan Doyle Appreciation Society, The Artist Man and the Mother Woman, and the Herald Angel award winning Dream Plays (Scenes from a play I’ll Never Write).

Linda Crooks is the Joint Chief Executive and Executive Producer of the Traverse Theatre. Linda Crooks has worked as a theatre producer for over twenty five years. She has led a number of highly successful theatre and festival enterprises during this time including her starting up her own business at the age of 25.
