Alison Watt : Paintings 1986 – 2014

As part of the GENERATION programme, which celebrates 25 years of Scottish contemporary art, Perth Museum and Art Gallery held an exhibition of works by Scottish painter Alison Watt. Drawn from a selection of paintings between 1986 and 2014, Watt’s subject matter was the human form, mostly female nudes, but later moved on to folded fabric. These pieces were often sensual in nature, and hinted at the presence or absence of the human form.

This exhibition is now closed.
