Anu Selva-Thomson : Dissection Room Residency

The Dissection Room Residency at Summerhall is a year long programme, which provides support and space to artists. Set up with Puppet Animation Scotland and Articulation, this programme is made up of a series of flexible residencies taking place in Summerhall, and allows the artists space to conduct their practice, access to mentors within the field, and opportunities to travel and see other works or performances.

This year’s programme focused on physical and visual performance, and featured artists Clare Duffy, Sarah Bebe Holmes and Rain Anya of Paper Doll Militia, and Xana Marwick.

Director of the programme, Anu Selva-Thomson introduces what the residency is all about and what it aims to do for practicing artists.
