Jane Matthews introduces the Open, an exhibition that welcomes entries from amateur, professional, and student artists and craft makers, aged 18 and over, who are linked to Shetland by birth, education, or residency. This year’s theme of ‘home’ can be interpreted in any way possible. It refers to the name ‘Bonhoga’ or ‘My Spiritual Home’ in celebration of the gallery’s 20th anniverary. Category winners will have the opportunity to exhibit in a group show at Bonhoga in 2015. Lower Gallery & Craft Cabinet: The Barins’ Shetland Open in any medium, 2 or 3-dimensional, on the theme of ‘home.’

The exhibition is on at Bonhoga Gallery from Saturday 26th April until Sunday 1st June 2014.
