Lilian Lee, founder of Fourth World Art, tells us about this social enterprise based in Techcube at Summerhall. Her mission is to support communities through artisanal craft. The story behind this innovative idea came about when Lilian went to Haiti after the devastating earthquake of 2010. After three months putting her architectural skills towards rebuilding the community, she came up with a sustainable solution to help the population. Lillian buys art from artisans and diverts profit from sales towards rebuilding communities, supporting local education, economy and entrepreneurship.
