Artistic Director of Perth Theatre Rachel O’Riordan, introduces the work of Perth Theatre and the programme that she has put in place, which is geared towards engaging the local communities around Perth and getting them involved in theatre. The programme will showcase new writers as well as put on commissioned pieces by established writers and playwrights such as Alan Bissett and Peter Arnott.

Perth Theatre is currently undergoing redevelopment, which will see the addition of a host of new facilities such as more learning spaces, a new flexible performance space, and the restoration of the B-listed auditorium.
