A different kind of shopping experience can be found at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art’s Pig Rock Bothy, this week. Artlink’s Barter Swap Shop has a series of handcrafted items made by artists with learning disabilities in collaboration with Artlink artists. T-shirts, books, screen printed aprons and bangles are available for those who have an experience to swap. Gallery visitors are invited and encouraged to think creatively about what they can offer and what the value of an object is to them.

The Barter Swap Shop is on in the Pig Rock Bothy, Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Edinburgh, until the 22nd March 2015.
